The Klangmaschine is part of a Synthesizer, a tectonic structure, that was developed out of various music instruments. Based on the instrument called mandolin the pins as tuning elements inspired the form and function of the Klangmaschine. A rotating movement produces
acoustic and electronic
noise, a twittering, high, but fragil sound, while the
Klangmaschine is dancing a mechanical dance.
